The wifi problems are not related to wifi signal strength or auto channel switching (Using more channels than is typical in US and how ring is programmed). Also, for Europe, the advice of ring is simply wrong. But even this is getting on my nerves, because I have constantly to go outside for resets (many wifi issues even though the signal is at 70 - 80 % at point of installation and now the light issue). Thank god in my case the installation is low enough for me to reach the button by hand (which of course at the same time is also a key security problem - also not thought through). I like the concept and products so much, but it is much less thought through than anticipated. But I can see that several people, maybe many more than the ones in this thread, have the same problem. First I thought it could have to do with the cold in my region. The light keeps staying on since a few days only (just latest problem). One of my problems is the one mentioned here. I only have one ring floodlight cam professionally installed at this time (still in a long testing phase with lots of problems).
